How to Create GPO Desktop Wallpaper

1. You must select image for wallpaper.

2. Create share folder and put image in folder, share security with “authentication users only read”

3. Open Group Policy Management, Start –> Run –> gpmc.msc

4. Create New GPO, WP-GPO and you link to OU. For example, I link WP-GPO in Forest(see image below)

5. Next, From Group Policy Object, Right Click to edit WP-GPO.

6. Enable Desktop Wallpaper

7. Then, Enable Prevent changing desktop background

8. After that, open CMD and type gpupdate

9. If you gpo not applied on windows7 and windows 2008 R2, download hotfix The_Desktop_Wallpaper_Group_Policy_setting_is_not_applied_in_Windows7_or_in_WindowsServer2008R2 below :
