GFI FaxMaker Dial Suffix

Posted: March 16, 2012 in GFI

Yesterday, I’m configure GFI FaxMaker to send fax. Before I test fax, first time I try to check line fax to call my handphone. When I want to call, I must press 1 before my number and successfully my handphone is ringging. So from GFI FaxMaker Configuration I must configure dial prefix & suffix, see below :

When debug logging is enabled, GFI FAXmaker will log information which can be used for advanced troubleshooting by GFI support. The debug logs will be located in the <FAXmakerdebuglogs> directory. When GFI FAXmaker is working correctly, debug logging can be safely disabled.

Enabling and disabling debug logging in GFI FAXmaker can be done from the registry as follows:

  1. Open the GFI FAXmaker configuration.
  2. Browse to ‘Advanced -> ‘Miscellaneous’ -> ‘Properties’.
  3. In the ‘Troubleshooting Actions’ section echeck or uncheck ‘Enable debug mode’ as required.

  5. Restart the GFI FAXmaker services

Please refer also to KBID001062 for the files required by GFI Support to troubleshoot an issue.
